CHEM 1300 - General Chemistry I4 cr. 6 hr. Day course offered in the Fall. Also offered summers. The course explores the fundamental laws and theories of chemistry such as atomic structure, the periodic table, electrochemistry, descriptive inorganic chemistry, the gas laws, solutions, equilibrium calculations and chemical bonding. Chemical calculations are emphasized. SMT. Prerequisite(s): Must have passed the math placement test or be concurrently enrolled (or have passed) or a higher level college math course. |
