CHEM 4500 - Organic Spectroscopy

4 cr. 6 hr. This course may be offered less than once every two years.

This course will discuss the theory and applications of various spectrometric techniques, such as Mass Spectrometry, IR, ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, and UV spectroscopy, used in structure elucidation of organic compounds. Three hours of lecture and a three-hour laboratory per week.
