CSC 1100 - Computer Applications 3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered in the Fall. Also offered evenings.
This course introduces students to the most popular computer applications used across many disciplines. Students will complete a project applying these tools to a problem chosen from their discipline. Students will communicate their results in a final presentation. The topics currently studies are spreadsheets, databases and the integration of the two for more powerful applications. Credit is not awarded for both BSAD 1700 - Introduction to Computer Information Systems for Business and CSC 1100 - Computer Applications. SMT
Note: Application topics chosen for this course may be reviewed every four years by the university and the description in the catalog will reflect the topics covered in the course. Passing the Math Placement Exam or MATH 0200 .
