COUN 8330 - Clinical Observation and Assessment of Children and Adolescents
3 cr. The emphasis of this course is on developing a conceptual framework for simultaneously observing multiple dimensions of child and adolescent functioning, then translating these observations into clinical inferences to derive clinical hypotheses and treatment recommendations from these inferences. This is an advanced course necessitating familiarity with abnormal behavior and diagnosis.
Prerequisite(s): A course in psychology of development. (offered every two years)
