EDUC 3070 - Middle School Concept

3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered in the Spring.

This course students to the historical development, philosophy, and the competencies needed to teach in the middle school. Candidates will investigate how to integrate instructional experiences to equalize learning opportunities for an inclusive student population and to enhance multicultural pluralism. A pre-practicum of 15 hours is required. Required for all Middle School Humanities and History Education Majors.

Prerequisite(s): Successful Passage of Communication and Literacy (Both Reading and Writing Subtests).
