SPED 2800 - Strategies in Reading Instruction and the Assessment of Reading

3 cr. 3 hrs. Day course offered every Semester. Also offered evenings.

Course explores instruction, assessment and data analysis of reading for students with varying abilities. Candidates develop skills involved in teaching reading. They will be able to draws conclusions from data to plan effective instruction. A pre-practicum of 10 hours is required. Required for all Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education: Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 and 5-12 Majors.

Prerequisite(s): Successful passage of Stage One Education Unit Review. EDUC 2630 .
