SPED 3720 - Classroom Management and Behavior Support

3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered every Semester. Also offered evenings.

This course focuses on the development of classroom-wide strategies designed to promote positive student behavior, at the whole-class as well as individual level. Students develop the skill set necessary to design a classroom-wide system of positive behavior support, collect and analyze data, complete a functional behavior assessment, and craft a function-sensitive behavior management plan.

Prerequisite(s): Successful Passage of Stage One Education Unit Review.
