HIST 3050 - America Since 1968

This course will cover United States history from 1968 to the present and focus on developments in politics, culture, international affairs, and the economy. Topics will include the rise of cultural nationalism and second wave feminism, the transformation of politics and culture after the domestic and international upheavals of the 1970s, the conservative movement, the relationship between media and politics, and the culture wars.
