PSY 8015 - Research and Program Evaluation 3 cr. This course provides students with an overview of the design and methodology of social research and program evaluation as applied to mental health counseling and education. Topics of study include critical analyzing and evaluating of research literature, experimental research design, survey research, program evaluation, treatment strategies evaluation, needs assessments, participant observational research and ethics in research evaluation. Students learn how to plan, conduct and document a research and/or evaluation study in a field setting.
Prerequisite(s): PSY 1100, PSY 2120.
