COUN 8030 - Life Span Development

This course examines human physical, cognitive, personality and social cultural development from conception to death. Emphasis is upon the understanding of the theories of human development across the lifespan, the understanding of empirical research associated with these theories, the enhancement of critical thinking skills through analysis of current issues in development, and the application of lifespan development to counseling.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to a Counseling Master’s or Certificate Program, or instructor permission.
