SCED 9003 - Science, Ethics, and Technology 3 cr. The purpose of this course is to communicate the process of ethical reasoning. Students gain a better understanding of how cooperation between people concerned with the human application of science and the makers of public policy must become a working hypothesis. By examining current literature students uncover some of the facts and general principles of ethical reasoning and relate the short- and long-term consequences to moral positions.
