MATH 1300 - Precalculus


4 cr. 4 hr. Day course offered every Semester. Also offered evenings.

This course prepares students for the study of calculus. Topics covered include real numbers, equations and inequalities and analytic geometry, as well as polynomial, rational, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions. Credit is awarded for only one of MATH 1250   or MATH 1300. QR, SMT

Prerequisite(s):  

a. ‘passing’ score on Advanced Algebra and Functions Accuplacer placement exam OR

b. Successful completion of MATH 0500  [Algebraic Prep.]
