BIOL 2650 - Neuroscience 3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered in the Spring.
This course explores the fundamental relationships between the nervous system, behavior and cognition, giving particular emphasis to the molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie behavioral and cognitive activity. Starting with a thorough grounding in basic molecular, cellular, and systems neurobiology, students will examine the neurobiological correlates of sensation and perception, movement, language and communication, learning and memory, and neuropharmacology. Required for majors with a concentration in Neuroscience and Behavior. AIA
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1800 or BIOL 1900 plus PSY 1100 or PSY 3050 .
