COMM 3880 - Typographic Design

3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered every Semester.

Students create graphic design projects that cultivate a deep understanding of Typography—the art of designing with text so that it is understandable and visually appealing. Topics will include; how to choose fonts/typefaces, typeface categories, legibility, hierarchy of content, composition and layout, experimental typography, and text and image relationships.
