COMM 4230 - Communication Law and Ethics 3 cr. 3 hr. Offered every semester
The course introduces communications media law and ethics. Students participate in civic engagement by hosting a public discussion about a contemporary issue in communication ethics. Legal topics discussed in the class include copyright law, libel, censorship, media regulation, privacy, and the U.S. legal process. ER, IHIP
