PHYS 1100 - Physical Science

3 cr. 4 hr. Day course offered every Semester. Also offered evenings.

A brief but quantitative examination of basic physics. The topics may include basic mechanics, energy, fluids, heat, electricity, waves, light and a rudimentary look at modern physics. SMT, LAB, PL, SI

Prerequisite(s):

i. ‘passing’ score on Advanced Algebra and Functions Accuplacer placement exam OR

ii. Successful completion of MATH 0500 [Algebraic Prep.] OR

iii. Successful completion of a credit bearing mathematics course
