PSY 1200 - Lifespan Development 3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered every Semester. Also offered evenings.
This course examines continuity and change across the lifespan in the physical, cognitive and social/emotional domains. Students will be introduced to the major theories of developmental psychology and to the research methodologies used in developmental research. Emphasis will be placed upon the broad range of factors that influence, and are influenced by, an individual’s behavior and development. These include context, individual differences, worldview and diversity (e.g., race and ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, sexuality, religion, ability, identity). CTW, DP, PL
