PSY 4900 - Independent Study 1-6 cr. 3-18 hr. Day course offered as needed.
Independent study is a student-led academic experience that may take the form of problem identification and research, special advanced reading programs and/or a scientific literature review. Independent study cannot be substituted for regularly scheduled courses. Students are expected to complete or conduct a scientific literature review as part of this experience. Independent study may be taken for one to six semester hours. This experience is offered primarily to Psychological Science majors or minors, or Neuroscience, Behavior and Cognition minors, of junior or senior standing, and is arranged by mutual agreement with a supervising professor.
Prerequisite(s): 3.0 cumulative average.
