MUSC 3000 - Fundamentals of Conducting 3 cr. 3 hr. Offered every spring semester.
This course is designed to introduce students to conducting music ensembles. Skills taught will include but are not limited to basic conducting patterns, score reading, analytical techniques, and rehearsal techniques. Students will participate as both conductor and member of the ensemble. Lab hours outside of class may be required.
Prerequisite(s): MUSC 1001 ; MUSC 2200 or MUSC 2240 ; and one of the following: MUSC 2320 , MUSC 2330 , MUSC 2400 , MUSC 2401 , MUSC 2402
