ART 2025 - Drawing the Figure in Action

3 cr. 3 hr. Offered every fall semester.

This class will focus exclusively on the human figure: proportions, anatomy, gesture, and form. We will explore the figure in a variety of ways, including creating a posable 3D wire armature as well as drawing in pencil, charcoal, and ink wash. For students wishing to develop their ability to draw and animate the figure realistically for Game Design, Graphic Design, or Drawing and Painting, this course will give you the intense practice needed to build confidence and skill.
