MUSC 2315 - Applied Trumpet Lessons Level 2

1 cr. 3 hr. Offered every semester.

This course provides private study of trumpet that includes the development of technique, repertoire, and performance practice related to trumpet performance. These lessons occur in a one-on-one studio setting and are scheduled by the student in conjunction with the Humanities Department and the applied music instructor. A jury performance is required and opportunities for student recital performance may be available. May be repeated for a maximum of two credits. Seven hours of individual instruction per semester. Prerequisite two credits of Level 1. FA
