MUSC 4337 - Applied Violin Lessons Level 4 1 cr. 3 hr. Offered every semester.
This course provides private study of violin that includes the development of technique, repertoire, and performance practice related to violin. These lessons occur in a one-on-one studio setting and are scheduled by the student in conjunction with the Humanities Department and the applied music instructor. A jury performance is required and opportunities for student recital performance may be available. May be repeated for a maximum of two credits. Seven hours of individual instruction per semester. Prerequisite two credits of Level 3 FA
