COMM 4870 - COMM Internship

6 cr. 18 hr. Offered every spring semester.

The 6-credit Communications Media Internship is an 18 hours per week, semester-long, pre-professional learning experience that is designed to link academic preparation with successful entry into a student’s career path. Interns must successfully complete an Internship Qualification Program in the semester immediately prior to the internship. Internship placement is competitive and based on academic performance, faculty recommendations, and performance in the Internship Qualification Program.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Internship Preparation requirements, senior status, and a cumulative Communications Media Grade Point Average of 2.5 or better at the time the Application for Internship is due.
