PSY 2040 - Research Methods and Statistics 1 3 cr. 3 hr. Offered every semester.
This is the first of a two course sequence in statistics and research methods. The course will give students the tools required to conduct basic descriptive research and descriptive data analysis in psychology and related fields. APA (American Psychological Association) format will be utilized. Students must earn a minimum of 2.0 in this course to progress to PSY 2050 .
Prerequisite(s): A grade of 2.0 or higher in both PSY 1100 Introduction to Psychological Science and MATH 1700 Applied Statistics
