GEOG 1000 - Earth Systems Science

Students receive a holistic view of Earth and the spatial relationships between its physical, chemical, geological, and biological systems. Students learn fundamental scientific principles of physical geography and discuss human-earth interactions. Topics include earth-sun relationships, atmospheric processes, physical geology, and water resources. Human impacts, such as ozone depletion, global warming, and water and air pollution, are discussed.
