MATH 1250 - Introduction to Functions 3 Credit(s) Offered: every semester
This course provides a study of mathematical functions, graphing techniques, and applications. The functions covered in the class are linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic. Cross-listed with MATH 1300
Prerequisite(s): Adjusted high school GPA of 2.7 or higher (associated with a high school graduation no more than two years from semester of enrollment) OR
passing score on Advanced Algebra and Functions Accuplacer placement exam OR successful completion of MATH 0500 [Algebraic Prep.]
Note: Credit is awarded for only one of MATH 1250 or MATH 1300 .
