SPAN 2600 - Hispanic Culture 3 Credit(s) Offered: once every two years
Hispanic Culture (SPAN 2600) is a course designed to provide students with a historical and cultural understanding of the Hispanic world. Emphasis is placed on contemporary issues and social customs of the different Hispanic populations in Latin America and the U.S., particularly on the cultural behaviors that impact Latino health, education, and other social aspects.
Prerequisite(s): SPAN 2000
Note: Students who have declared a Medical Spanish Certificate may take SPAN 2600 concurrently with SPAN 2000 with department approval.
