BIOL 3060 - Biochemical Techniques 3 Credit(s) Offered: every other year
This course introduces students to the most commonly used techniques in a biochemistry lab. Students will have hands-on experience with techniques such as buffer preparation, spectrophotometry, recombinant protein expression, protein purification, column chromatography, gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, affinity purification, enzyme activity assays. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 3030 /BIOL 3030 with a 1.7 or higher, OR CHEM 2000 and BIOL 2800 each with a 1.7 or higher
