BIOL 3040 - Biochemistry II

This course can be taken in any sequence with Biochemistry I. Topics include enzyme mechanisms, pathways and regulation of carbohydrate, lipid, amino acid, and nucleic acid biosynthesis and catabolism, photosynthesis, DNA replication, transcription and translation. Prerequisites are same as Biochemistry I (BIOL1800, CHEM 2000).
