BIOL 1001 - Introduction to Health Professions Seminar

This is a seminar course for students interested in going on to a health professional career. The intent of the course is to expose students to various health professions, define goals, direct students to various resources available to them,and begin professional training. Students will attend seminars by health professionals, submit reflective papers, and research the profession of their choosing. The course is designed for freshmen and sophomores, but any student is welcome. Attention will be given to developing a set of required skills to be a successful candidate for admission to the student’s chosen field of advanced study. Open to any student interested in health professions. Cross-listed with EXSS 1001
