ART 1500 - Photography as Visual Language

This course is an introduction to photography as a visual language. Students will explore conceptual imagemaking through digital and analog photographic processes while surveying contemporary photographic artists and social issues relating to their work. A digital camera is necessary to complete this course; modern cell phone cameras are permitted and fill the camera requirement. Cross-listed with COMM 1500
