Requirements for the Minor in Psychological Science

PSY 1100 - General Psychology 3 cr. or
PSY 1200 - Human Growth and Development 3 cr.

And choose one of the following:

PSY 2110 - Introduction to Research Methods 3 cr.
CJ 3130 - Criminal Justice Research Methods 3 cr. *
HMSV 2050 - Research Methods in Human Services Practice 3 cr. *
SOC 3130 - Basic Skills of Social Research 3 cr.

Note:

*Students who take a research course that is not PSY 2110 are required to take an extra elective course in Psychological Science to fulfill the 21 credits in Psychological Science.

Electives

In addition to the two core courses, students must take a minimum of two electives from Group 1. The additional three or four electives may be selected from either Group 1 or 2.
