Post-Baccalaureate Endorsement for Licensure Certificate for Secondary Education

This certificate program is available to Fitchburg State Secondary Education major undergraduates who have been awarded degrees in their content areas within the last calendar year, have successfully completed all the degree requirements of the undergraduate education program in which they seek licensure with the exception of student teaching and its associated courses and have successfully passed all Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education tests required for initial licensure. Completion of this certificate makes a candidate eligible for endorsement and does not lead to a second bachelor’s degree. The Dean of Education will review individuals who receive this certificate for endorsement.
