Objectives for the Minor in Philosophy
The Philosophy minor provides a variety of courses which fulfill requirements in the Liberal Arts and Sciences Program. These courses explore philosophical inquiry from its beginnings to the present, reviewing the history of ideas and the development of philosophical and ethical systems.

Requirements for the Minor in Philosophy
The Philosophy minor requires 18 semester hours divided into two groups. Group One constitutes a 9-credit core of three topical courses that are mandatory. Group Two constitutes a 9-credit group of elective course options.

In addition to the 9-credit Philosophy core requirements, students must select three Philosophy elective courses from the following list:
