Exercise and Sports Science Minor

Students that complete the minor will have completed a number of varied courses in the major to gain a diverse experience in the field. Classes will be determined with an academic advisor and approved by the Department Chair.

This minor will help non-EXSS students gain prerequisite requirements for graduate school and experience in our field that could be useful in their future career paths. This minor will also offer a clear path through IDIS for junior and senior level EXSS students that are removed from the major due to poor academic standing.

Exercise and Sports Science Minor Requirements

The minor in Exercise and Sports Science requires a minimum of 18 semester hours of course work. Students must have an average GPA of 2.0 or greater in all classes that count towards the minor.
