ENGL 3092 - Transatlantic Literature 3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered in the Fall.
This course will survey significant works from writers across the Atlantic; that is, writing from and about the Americas, the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and England. By interrogating canonical and non-canonical writing within the particular context of transatlantic cultural exchanges, the course will consider the ways in which cultural and historical factors shape and change the literary subject.
