Art History. The course is a survey of the development of modern art from 1890 to 1945 in Europe and the United States. Periods covered include French Post Impressionism, Fauvism, and Cubism; German Expressionism; Spanish and French Surrealism; Early American Modernism, the Harlem Renaissance, Regionalism, and Abstract Expressionism.
