JAPN 1001 - Japanese for Beginners I

The correct pronunciation, reading ability, system of writing, and fundamentals of grammar and syntax of the Japanese language are studied. Students are taught the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Cultural topics are integrated with these skills. Japanese gradually becomes the working classroom language.
