This course examines a broad range of individual and collective experiences at the intersections of gender, race, ethnicity, class, and sexuality. It covers such topics as the social and discursive construction of gender and sexuality; identities and social locations; gendered bodies and health; intimate relationships, families and households; work, wages, and welfare; and feminist and LGBT activism and social change.
