MATH 3550 - Ordinary Differential Equations


3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered every other year.

This is an introductory course to ordinary differential equations including first- and higher-order equations as well as systems of linear and nonlinear differential equations.  Many different techniques are introduced including matrices, numerical, series and LaPlace transformations.  The course also introduces students to applications of differential equations including predator-prey and disease modelling.  PL, AIA

Prerequisite(s): MATH 2400 , MATH 2550 , and MATH 2600
