PSY 2220 - Adult Development and Aging

3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered once a year.

This course examines the developmental changes that occur in early adulthood, middle adulthood, and in the later part of the life span. The course will also cover death, dying and bereavement. Students will be introduced to the research methods employed in the study of adult development and aging. They will also address theory concerning relevant biological, physiological, cognitive, and psychosocial processes. Finally, the course will cover some of the applications and interventions developed by psychological scientists in this field. AIA
