CHEM 4850 - Methods in Teaching Chemistry (8-12) II

3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered in the Fall

This course focuses on content pedagogy at the secondary level. Teacher candidates design and implement standards-based instruction and assessments that are aligned with best practices for teaching and learning in their content area. Special emphasis is placed on employing a variety of instructional practices and classroom management strategies that provide learning opportunities for diverse student populations and enhance multicultural pluralism.
