ECON 2010 - Political Economy of Gender 3 cr. 3 hr. Offered every spring semester.
The course explores the ways gender plays a role in economic life in expanding or constraining opportunities available to individuals in the U.S. and in the developing world. Topics will include: gender division of labor in paid and unpaid spheres, gendered patterns of employment and unemployment, and discrimination in labor markets. CTW, GDCN, DP, AIA
