PSY 2030 - Biological Psychology

3 cr. 3 hr. Day course offered every semester. Also offered evenings.

This course provides students with an overview to theories of and knowledge about biological psychology. Students will explore the foundations of biological psychology (e.g. the anatomy of the nervous system, evolutionary theory, the concept of brain plasticity) as well as the research tools and methods used to study topics in biological psychology. The course will also cover the biological underpinnings of important human behaviors and psychological disorders. AIA
