BIOL 3040 - Biochemistry II

3 cr. 3 hr. Offered every other year

This course can be taken in any sequence with Biochemistry I. Topics include enzyme mechanisms, pathways and regulation of carbohydrate, lipid, amino acid, and nucleic acid biosynthesis and catabolism, photosynthesis, DNA replication, transcription and translation. Prerequisites are same as Biochemistry I (BIOL1800, CHEM 2000). Students can only receive credit for BIOL 3040 OR CHEM 3040. CHEM 3040
