EDUC 2015 - Course Managing the Classroom to Maximize Learning

This course will provide opportunities for the student to examine strategies in classroom management that decrease disruptive behaviors and increase student engagement and learning. Participants will examine classroom routines and procedures, organizing supplies and the physical layout of the classroom, establishing rules and behavior management strategies, managing student work, establishing a positive climate, planning instructional routines that prevent management problems and increase student engagement and learning, and communicating effectively with students, school personnel, and caregivers.
