GAME 3000 - Game Design Workshop 3 cr. 3 hr. Offered every Semester.
In this course, students learn to design and develop games using an industry-standard game engine. Students build foundational knowledge in the C# scripting language to implement mechanics with game objects & components, including input, movement, physics, collision, instantiation/destruction, and scoring. The course includes design pitches, critiques, portfolio development, team collaboration, and a final published game project. This course is cross listed with CSC 3010 . This course is cross-listed with CSC 3010 .
Note: Credit is not awarded for both GAME 3000 and CSC 3010. Prerequisite(s): GAME 2000 , GAME 2200 and CSC 1500
