ENGL 2670 - 20th Century African American Literature 3 Credit(s) Offered: Spring
This course surveys the major periods, genres, and authors of African-American literature in the twentieth century. This course also connects African-American literature to the representation of Blacks in music, film live performance, media, and society in general. Representative authors include James Baldwin, Lorraine Hansberry, Amiri Baraka, and Toni Morrison. Cross-listed with AAST 2670
