The Mathematics Minor for Early Childhood, Elementary, or Special Education majors provides the mathematical foundation needed to become knowledgeable and skillful educators in the 21st century.
This is a 23-24 credit hour program which includes seven 3 or 4 credit-hour mathematics courses as described below.

—All prerequisites for a course must be met before the course can be taken.
—This minor is restricted to students in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Special Education. This minor will meet the minor requirement of the IDIS major for these students.
Students pursuing the Middle School Education Mathematics-Science (5-8) Initial Teacher Licensure are required to complete a Minor in Mathematics as part of their IDIS major. |
