COUN 8900 - Counseling Techniques and Case Analysis: School Guidance Counseling

This course prepares student-counselors in the skills necessary for working with school-aged students by facilitating basic listening and counseling techniques, using guided simulations and school-based field experience.

Note: a pre-practicum (25 hours) is required. Prerequisite(s): COUN 7000 , COUN 7010 , COUN 7030 , COUN 8010 , COUN 8200 , COUN 8210 or COUN 8220 , admission to a counseling program, and candidacy.
